At Alzar School, we pride ourselves on providing a unique blend of engaging academics, thrilling outdoor adventures, and enriching cultural exchanges. Imagine stepping outside the confines of a traditional classroom and embarking on an unforgettable semester filled with exploration and discovery. This is not just an educational experience; it’s the adventure of a lifetime that will inspire you and broaden your horizons in ways you never thought possible!
Alzar School offers a transformative high school semester at the intersection of engaging academics, cultural exchange, and outdoor adventure. Students continue their academic classes while living and learning in the peaks of Patagonia and along the rivers of the American West. With small class sizes and faculty who live, study, and travel alongside them, students build strong relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the world. Each semester's expeditions vary based on water levels and other factors, but may include paddling the Salmon River, exploring the Owyhee Desert, kayaking the Baker River in Patagonia, and trekking through Patagonia National Park.
