An Alzar School Vacation
Alzar School Board President, Head Teacher, Executive Director, and one alumni joined a group of Boise High teachers for a little rest and relaxation on the Lower Salmon. The group spent five days jumping off cliffs, admiring wildlife, splashing through rapids, and giving Alzar School’s mascot, the vicious golden retriever Pebbles, excessive amounts of attention.
It was a great way to spend the long summer days and we had lots of time to reflect on the upcoming year. With so many exciting developments for the school, and a few unforeseen challenges, the beginnings of the Perseids Meteor Shower put things in perspective. One year from now we will begin the first full academic semester program. Students will arrive to a beautiful campus to be greeted by faculty brimming with excitement to share the subjects they are so passionate about. It has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait.
Until then, we have a three week expedition to Chile and the beginning of a cross country recruiting tour to look forward to. Will we be near you? Should we visit your school? Let us know!
