Semester Seventeen – That’s A Wrap
Today the courageous Fall 2020 cohort departed from our Idaho campus and thus concluded Semester Seventeen at Alzar School.
The end of each semester is a bittersweet moment. Tears are shed and embraces elongated as students say goodbye to one another, yet the anticipation of seeing family again and falling asleep in the comfort of a familiar bed builds with every mile closer to home.
This semester, like all, has been unique. But our Fall 2020 students faced obstacles no other Alzar School student has had to in the past. They quarantined even before arriving, studied and ate outside for the first two weeks, and wore masks and socially distanced throughout the semester. Needless to say, these and other factors made their time at Alzar School challenging. Throughout it all, there were moments when each student showed incredible tenacity and resilience. We are incredibly proud of Semester Seventeen’s achievements and growth that shines even brighter in light of the demanding circumstances they faced.
As the Fall 2020 Semester comes to an end, we are filled with immense gratitude for our amazing students, trusting families, dedicated teachers and staff, and generous supporters who, together, made the Alzar School experience possible. Thank you!
